Would you like to be blessed by God? I know that I would. In Psalms it states.
Psalms 1:1-6 King James Version
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so; but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
One thing I learned some years ago is that God desires our praise; He wants to give us many blessings, as He is good always, nothing bad ever generates from Him.
The adversary is the one that should be blamed for the destruction that affects humankind in every category.
For the thief (adversary, devil, Satan) cometh but for to steal and to kill and to destroy,
I (Jesus Christ) am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
All the catastrophic results of hurricanes, tornadoes and the like are a direct result of the adversary manipulating the weather.
We can claim God’s protection to remain unscathed. The results of the catastrophe’s may claim our housing, but it needn’t claim our life, or that of our loved ones.
The best thing to do is to be in alignment with God, the Father of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ before the negative things in life come our way. Then it’s easier to trust him through thick and thin, through the good times as well as the bad.
God doesn’t give us trials and tribulations, but He will help us get through them is we will allow Him to.
The Bible verse I currently have on my wallpaper, from Crosscards.com is Psalm 32:7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble;thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
When you are in a tough situation and it’s difficult to keep your mind on the Lord and expect the deliverance, He can remind you of songs you can sing to keep your mind off the dire circumstances you are in.
In my study of praise, I realized that if I have a situation that I’m having a hard time with, I take time to praise God, and it helps me get through it in a more positive fashion.
If you’re a church-goer, you probably have songs you like and maybe have memorized. Go ahead and sing them out loud, if you’re the only one around, or silently if it will disturb others, you will find that it will help, you’ll see.
I was going to take time today and begin to transfer some of my posts on blogspot to my blog: http://www.muchadoaboutmanythings.wordpress.com. Some of those posts I’ve had there for at least four years and in all that time I have one follower and I’ve had 72 views. Not great. WordPress is much better with both those counts.
Before I managed to begin to transfer some of them over, I found that I now qualify for ads on my site that may earn me money. I have to check into it more. Maybe I can transfer the posts, but put something in it’s place to use with google.
I have a choice to make. it’s about six minutes before midnight. I could transfer some posts to make my word count for today, but be late and then it would show up as tomorrow’s post. Or I could quit now and post by midnight and make up for it another day.
The latter sound better to me.
Counting Scripture references this post is 672 words.
