One more day and nano will be over. When tomorrow night comes, or I should say before hand, I will be wrapping up this blog until November 1st next year. For any of you that have been peeking at my posts on Bubblews, I may post some links on one of my other wordpress blogs in case anyone wants to continue to check them out at all.

Probably the one I would use would be http://www.muchadoaboutfreelancing.wordpress.com.

I wrote two posts today. I worked on payroll this morning and worked a few hours this afternoon. Tomorrow, I’ll be meeting for a luncheon with my sisters and first cousins on my dad’s side, and then working in the afternoon and early evening. If it’s busy, I’ll be working longer than that.

Bubblews shut down about three to four years ago so nine of these links work.

Total for today 822

Thursday, November 21, 2013

I only got one post in today, I don’t remember why that was. I know that we only worked the window jobs, as I thought it was Thanksgiving this week when I asked for it off eight months ago. For some reason though, I didn’t get anything written until it was almost time for bed, and then I forgot all about posting it here and on my other site.

So, this post is from Thursday even though I’m posting it on Saturday night.

http://www.bubblews.com/news/1631744-it-is-getting-kind-of-late-so-i-though-i-better-get-a-post-in-for-the-day 919 words

One thing too is that I realized earlier in the week that I neglected to write my totals from here into another place that figures out the percentage written for us. So now I’ll have to go back through and add up all my totals again so I get it right. Before the last day, I’d also like to get all my words into the nano site, but we’ll see if I remember to do that or not.

November 15, Busy Day, Not Necessarily With Writing

Right now it’s still November 15, but in a few minutes it will be tomorrow, so this will be posted on the 16th even though I’m sharing about my busy day on the 15th. I got some writing done, but not anywhere near what I had hoped that I would. I wanted to get an additional two thousand words in before midnight. Ah well, you win some you lose some.

I did get words written and maybe close to the desired daily count of 1666, but I was hoping to catch up some today as I’m still quite a bit behind.

I did get a lot done, though, and that was nice. Other than getting some writing in, I worked on cleaning my stove top, which gets nasty as it’s over sixty years old as is most everything in our house. I did some filing, laundry, dishes and last but not least payroll. Of course I had to play a game or two, but I tried to stay away from that as much  as possible.

I try to get over to my mother’s weekly to play cards. She lives alone and is legally blind. She gets bored easily. She watches a bit of tv, but has to sit about a foot away to see even the little bit that she can. I’d like to spend more time with her, but since I work the two jobs it makes it a bit difficult to manage.

I was hoping to make it to the gym today when my husband returned from getting his prosthetic adjusted. We were going to go  together. It’s easier to stay longer if I have someone with me, even if we wouldn’t be working on the same type of machines.

I’m going to be even busier until Thanksgiving. Wed and Thursday were my days off this week, and my next day off isn’t until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I’m hoping that we can find folks that will let us clean their windows before Thanksgiving so we can make some money if for no other reason than to pay payroll for the week, but it would be nice to have extra to pay bills.

I may have to plan on getting the remainder of my word count in Black Friday, the next day Saturday and the last week of the month. Even though it will start to get busier as people begin to buy for Christmas gifts, hopefully it won’t be quite as busy as it will be this next week.

I’m running out of steam. Hopefully I’ll post more later today at a more normal time.

Word count 436.
